Yang Shice's Diary 007: 99% of Customers Won't Close Deals for Such Folded Instruction Label Quotes

2025-07-25 17:58:44

Many people who consult start by asking about the price. Every time I quote directly, 100% of customers say, "It's too expensive" and then end the consultation by hanging up the phone immediately.

I think there are three possible reasons for this:

- First, such customers almost treat me as a "foil." They want to confirm the product's price range but have already chosen a supplier. No matter if my quote is lower or higher, they will always say it's too expensive. Instead of admitting they have a tight budget, they just say your price is too high.

- Second, they know nothing about me and have no trust at all. This is related to my usual content output. They saw my information but still didn't build trust, treating me as a stranger. How can such communication go well? So the conversation ends without progress.

- Third, customers are in the process of comparing options. They ask me first, check around, and then come back to consult my factory. They think I’m reliable—my published information and daily practices have made them change their minds. They want to work with me on folded instruction labels, which means some trust has been built, and they see me as a potential trading partner or default first choice.

In the first two cases, customers leave as soon as I quote.

Why can’t we quote directly?

First, folded instruction labels are industrial products, not like mineral water or instant noodles with standard prices. Their price is closely related to overall production quality. Quoting without mutual understanding is irresponsible to both parties, with a 99% failure rate—it will definitely fall through at first sight. But we shouldn’t argue with customers; instead, we should answer their questions. I usually ask about their situation: what the usage scenario is, whether their requirements are high-end or basic. Prices can vary greatly based on different uses and requirements.

Our factory has served major brands in industries like daily chemicals and toys. We’re not an irresponsible factory or person who disappears after one order.

There aren’t many factories that can produce folded instruction labels, tearable instruction labels, and multi-layer adhesive labels at the same time. Over the years, Jinxin Packaging has insisted on "walking on two legs," never giving up on either industry. A factory that survives such fierce competition undoubtedly has its own unique craftsmanship and secrets.

After three years of "black swan" events, our business of folded instruction labels and multi-layer adhesive labels has steadily grown. We’ve kept innovating in craftsmanship and material selection, and strictly controlled production quality. Think about it—can you sell at high prices or achieve good performance with poor quality? Not even a god could do that. If our boss ignored controllable production quality but tried to make money, it would only drag us into endless price wars with competitors.

We stick to integrity and mindfulness in doing business, striving to make our folded instruction labels’ quality impeccable.

If you’re not satisfied with your current folded instruction labels, you should try a small order at Jinxin Packaging Factory!
